What We Do

We transport clients to medical appointments, ask questions, take detailed notes, and advocate when necessary. We follow up with referrals and scheduling appointments. After each appointment or communication we send a summary of the visit to the client and/or family, to consult on next steps.
We bring in trusted providers, from homecare to gardening to nursing, to help elders stay in their homes for as long as possible, if that is what they choose. We can hire them and manage them, but we do not take a commission for these services.
With gentle, direct communication, we can help guide families through the difficult conversations that accompany aging, and we can help mediate the conversations.
Sometimes it’s possible to plan ahead for when an elder can no longer stay in their home, and sometimes it becomes urgent to find a safe place to move to immediately. We have familiarity with housing options: independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and adult-family homes. We can talk through the options, identify places that could be a good fit, and guide you through tours. We can help with all aspects of a move, from nursing assessments to packing, moving, unpacking, clearing homes, and finding a realtor to sell houses.
